Later that night, she changed outfits again and was determined to help as Bobby put together a new spice rack for me. I thought the pink ballet dress and pink fairy wings juxtaposed with the handyman aspect of building something made for a cute contrast.
Tonight, to celebrate Meghan's real birthday, we were invited to dinner at Shogun. It's a Japanese restaurant where the chef cooks the food right in front of you. Maggie's been to one before, but it had been a long time. She did NOT like it when the chef made fire right in front of her ...
... but she thought the rest was pretty cool.
Of course the girls had to sit next to each other ...
(Notice the newly decorated Littlest Pet Shop friends in attendance ...)
Maggie has a ceramic tea set, and as we were heading out to the restaurant, she grabbed a cup and saucer and said she wanted to take it with her and drink tea from it. I ordered a pot of hot tea for us to share, and sure enough, she sipped tea from this tiny cup all night!
Good times with good friends are the best!
