Last week, Maggie participated in The Little Gym's cheer camp. On the final camp day, parents were invited to come into the gym during the last few minutes of class; it was a treat watching the kids show off what they'd learned -- a few cheers, a fight song type dance routine, and a stunt with their instructors.
Cheering may turn out to be Maggie's "thing" ... she loved the activity, and getting to yell at the top of her lungs was an added bonus -- she was always, always the loudest kid in the room.
Welcome to our family's blog! We hope you'll enjoy hearing about the day-to-day antics of Maggie -- life with a 6-year-old is so much fun! (Well, most of the time.)
I believe that imagination is stronger than knowledge. That myth is more potent than history. That dreams are more powerful than facts. That hope always triumphs over experience. That laughter is the only cure for grief. And I believe that love is stronger than death. - Robert Fulghum, Storyteller's Creed
My life has turned out nothing like I thought it would ... and I love it! I never thought I'd want to be a stay-home mom, but then Maggie was born. I've been home with her for about 5 years, and I've never ever regretted it. I'm married to Bobby, who works as a software developer at a large insurance company; we just celebrated our 12th anniversary. We have lots of cats, one dog, and are vegetarian.
